About JCM Training Services
JCM Training Services offers: First Aid Courses that enable employers, employees and contractors to meet their obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (GB) 1981 and the Manual Handling Regulations 1992.
We provide professional First Aid, Manual Handling and Defib Training throughout Northern Ireland.
Our clients have included people in the workplace, volunteers within community organisations, sports clubs, parents and those who just want to have some knowledge of first aid.
Our courses comprise of both practical and theory sessions utilising the most up to date procedures and equipment.
The accountable and named responsible person by the Health & Safety Executive (EMAS) is Joanne Murphy, who has extensive experience in dealing with emergency situations.

First Aid Courses by JCM Training Services
The Health & Safety Regulations for First Aid in the workplace place a responsibility on all employers to provide adequate training and appropriate first aid for their employees, the company providing training: must be registered with the Employment Medical Advisory Service to provide and meet the set requirements, the First Aid at Work courses are approved by the Health & Safety Executive, and meet the set standard.
Automated Defibrillation Course
The AED Course is presented over 4 hours. The course has a maximum of 12 students – the minimum being 8 students. Presentation concentrates on previous knowledge gained with the additional necessary theory knowledge provided in an informal atmosphere. With practical training in use of the Heart-start Trainer which provides a variety of simulations and training scenarios.
The certificate of attendance is valid for 1 year as suggested by the Resuscitation Council (UK)
We strongly recommend that students should retrain every year in order to remain confident in their approach.
Students are issued with the current CPR & AED booklet
