Gransha Equestrian Centre welcomes riders from age five upwards, from complete beginners taking their first riding lessons through to experienced riders looking to develop their flatwork, jumping and competition skills. The centre offers regular group and private tuition, lessons for riders with their own horses, livery, arena hire, training clinics and a busy programme of equestrian competitions and events.

Based at 10A Kerrs Road, Bangor, Gransha is conveniently located for riders from Bangor, Newtownards, Donaghadee and across North Down, with extensive indoor and outdoor facilities for year-round riding and training.

Gransha offers horse riding lessons in Bangor for children and adults across a wide range of abilities. Group lessons run throughout the week and riders are assessed so they can be matched with a suitable horse or pony and an appropriate lesson level.

Tuition ranges from beginner sessions for younger riders to novice, intermediate and advanced groups. Private lessons can also be arranged, while riders with their own horses can use Gransha's coaching and facilities to improve their riding or prepare for competition.

Holiday activities, specialist coaching and other riding opportunities are also offered during the year.

Gransha has a long-established competition programme with events for riders at different levels. The centre hosts disciplines including show jumping, dressage, working hunter and arena eventing, as well as training clinics and special events throughout the year.

The centre is set across approximately 42 acres and has substantial facilities for lessons, schooling and competitions. These include the 72m x 24m Antwerp indoor arena with a Martin Collins surface, a second 60m x 24m indoor arena, outdoor all-weather arenas and a cross-country course with around 30 jumps.

The Derby All Weather Arena includes a water complex and sunken lane, while the centre also has a covered horse walker and additional farmland. The combination of indoor and outdoor facilities means Gransha can cater for everyday riding, training and competition use in a wide range of conditions.

Gransha offers both full and DIY livery, with approximately 50 stables available. Liveries have access to the centre's facilities, with year-round turnout available and 24-hour on-site supervision.

The yard can also help organise vet and farrier visits when required, and lorry and trailer parking is available. Full-livery arrangements can be tailored according to the level of support required.

Alongside its regular riding school programme, Gransha runs specialist instruction, training opportunities and clinics for riders who want to develop their skills further. The centre caters for riders wishing to improve in areas such as dressage and jumping, as well as those preparing for competitions.
