Mount Charles to cater in Belfast's Waterfront Hall
Mount Charles Catering are to be appointed as new caterers for corporate catering, bar and restaurant services at Belfast Waterfront Hall.
The catering company will be responsible for developing the Waterfront Hall’s superbly appointed restaurants, bars and also catering facilities for the tens of thousands of conference and business delegates who attend the Hall each year.
Subject to final contractual agreement, the catering contract is to be awarded for a three year period initially, with Mount Charles due to commence their operations at the Waterfront Hall during this coming summer.
Belfast Waterfront Hall in partnership with Mount Charles, plan to re-launch the venue’s popular brasserie restaurant and café following a complete redesign and refit.
A spokesperson for Belfast Waterfront Hall said: "The revamped restaurant will offer the finest European cuisine in a relaxed and modern setting that will be just as appealing to the restaurant going public as to the Hall’s entertainment customers. Value for money flexible and stylish menus will be tailored to meet the business and individual needs of the venue’s rapidly expanding portfolio of conference organisers and delegates."
Mount Charles Catering have acquired extensive experience in all areas of corporate catering, bar provision and restaurant operation through their activities at the Parliament Buildings at Stormont, Odyssey Arena and the City centre-based Oxford Exchange and East Bar.
Belfast Waterfront Hall this year celebrates its fifth birthday. Since 1997, Ireland’s premier conference and concert venue has attracted international star names and world-renowned shows to Belfast straddling the entire arts & entertainments spectrum.
The venue has played a pivotal role in establishing Belfast as a prime national and international meeting place for business delegates, competing alongside Europe’s top conference venues.

Belfast Named Destination Of Choice For International Conferences
Belfast is now a "destination of choice" for international conferences, with Belfast City Council stating that Belfast's renaissance "very much a reality". According to to the Council, the city is reaping the rewards of a £1billion investment programme which has successfully revitalised, regenerated and renewed its tourism offering.

Airporter Opens City Centre Routes
There is to be a new bus service between NI's two main airports and Belfast city centre. Despite the continuing recession and fears over this month's UK-wide cutbacks, coach operator, Airporter, has announced details of a new direct link between both Belfast airports and the Belfast Hilton Hotel and Waterfront Hall.

Waterfront Hall hailed as one of the world’s top conference centres
Last year has proven to be the Waterfront Hall’s most successful year yet, as a leading player within the international conferencing market. Since April 2003, around 50,000 delegates have attended around 170 conferences, exhibitions and business events at the Belfast venue.
