Roscrea Pharma Firm Jobs Lost
A pharmaceutical company in Roscrea, Co Tipperary has revealed some 31 jobs will be lost as a result of its closure.
Taro Pharmaceuticals, the Irish arm of the Israeli drug company, has announced that it is to cease operations in the town.
The former Antigen Factory announced the closure despite a number of measures in recent months to save jobs at the facility.
North Tipperary Fine Gael TD Noel said the closure was another example of how the employment issue is not being addressed in the area.
