Local travel agent books ahead with £120,000 investment
Leading Northern Ireland winning travel agent McNeill Rigby Travel, has revealed the details of a £120,000 investment to further fuel and manage the dramatic growth experienced by the company in the past year.
The investment includes the total refurbishment of the company's retail premises on the Lisburn Road; upgrading of the telephone system to call centre standard and the upgrading of their Galileo reservations system to Focalpoint 3.5 which uses internet protocol.
At the official opening of the new premises, Stuart Knox, Managing Director of McNeill Rigby Travel said: "This is a substantial investment making us the most technologically advanced travel agent on the island of Ireland. In seven years the business has expanded dramatically.
"We have created several highly successful travel brands including: Fly2TheSun.com and SkiMcNeill.com. The retail side of the business has grown, with the purchase of Menary Travel and the creation of business and leisure products. We have created 40 jobs since we opened and today's launch of the refurbishes McNeill Rigby premises is a positive event for our customers and staff alike." (MB)
