NI Makes Finals Of Roofing Awards
Local firms are in the running for a prestigious construction accolade.
Among the roofing awards' finalists are Co Derry firm D. Harkin & Co (Roofing) Ltd, which is nominated in the Roof Slating category for its work on Belfast's City Hall and Toomebridge company, Thornton Roofing (Ireland) Ltd which is hoping to scoop the Roof Sheeting award for its work on Wellington Street Church in Ballymena.
The National Federation of Roofing Contractors Limited's (NFRC) annual Excellence in Roofing Awards has this year been widened to include 'The Roofing Awards'. The awards are designed to recognise and reward outstanding roofing projects in all major roofing disciplines.
The finalists have been selected based on demonstrated quality workmanship, technical difficulties encountered, problem solving, environmental qualities and aesthetics.
NFRC Chief Executive, Ray Horwood said: "We have received over 250 entries covering a very wide range of roofing disciplines.
"The companies short-listed can be truly proud to be listed as finalists and I hope to see all finalists in May when the winners are announced."
