Around 270 jobs are to be created as part of a €20m private nursing home development in Dublin's inner city.
A spokesman for developers, the Creedon Group, has said construction of the 150-bed nursing home will go ahead this summer, pending full planning permission.
The facility, located in the Newmarket/Mill Street area of the city, will open in mid-2011, he added.
Around 150 of the positions are to be created during the construction of the development, with a further 120 permanent jobs arising upon completion.
