Four Due In Court On Human Trafficking Charges
Four people are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today charged in relation to human trafficking, following raids on suspected brothels last week.
A 21-year-old woman and two men, aged 33 and 46, have been charged with trafficking for sexual exploitation, controlling prostitution, brothel keeping and money laundering.
A 22-year-old woman has been charged with controlling prostitution.
The charges follow raids on seven properties in Belfast on Friday by the PSNI. The raids were part of a UK-wide operation, which involved searches at a total of 16 properties across the UK.
Fifteen people, including three men, were rescued by police during the raids.

Willie Frazer Arrested For Bail Breach
Prominent loyalist campaigner Willie Frazer has been arrested for breaching his bail conditions. The 52-year-old was arrested on Monday at about 19:30 in the Portadown area. He is expected to appear in court today. Bail conditions were imposed following charges linked to union flag protests earlier in the year.

Raids result in two men remanded in custody on robbery charges
Two of the 12 men arrested in a major anti-crime swoop in Belfast have appeared in court on charges of armed robbery. Appearing at Belfast Magistrates court on Wednesday January 9 were Mr Harry Porter, a 30-year-old window cleaner, from St George’s Gardens, and Mr Darren Clarke (20), from Henderson Avenue, both in Belfast.

Two people have been charged after a 29-year-old woman was rescued by the PSNI's Human Trafficking Unit in Co Tyrone. Officers carried out searches after concerns were raised about a woman's safety in Dungannon. A 32-year-old man has been charged with rape, human trafficking, controlling prostitution and kidnapping.
