National Trust celebrates view of Northern Ireland
Some of the province’s most famous landmarks have been celebrated in the first-ever Northern Ireland calendar from the National Trust.
Featuring images of Trust properties from across the province, the pictures have been selected from the charity’s Photographic Library, and feature the work of some of the most famous landscape photographers from throughout the UK.
Included are views of the Giant’s Causeway, Mount Stewart, Whitepark Bay, Florence Court, Castle Ward and Castle Coole.
The calendar is available now from The National Trust shop in Fountain Street and from the Visitors Centre at the Giant’s Causeway.
All profits from the sale of the calendar will contribute towards the conservation of Trust properties in Northern Ireland. (CL)

First Trust To Close 15 Branches In NI
Over 100 jobs are at risk after First Trust Bank confirmed it is to close 15 branches in Northern Ireland. First Trust, which is owned by AIB in Dublin, said the closures had been a "difficult decision". Head of First Trust Bank, Des Moore, said the bank has seen a 40% decline in branch usage since 2010.
