Linwoods Goes West
Armagh company, Linwoods are this week celebrating cracking America, as the very first shipment of Linwoods Superfoods began its maiden voyage from Belfast Docks to Baltimore Port.

The deal is worth hundreds of thousands of pounds annually and the company expects to sell over a quarter of a million packets of their range of healthy and delicious superfood blends which include flaxseed, sunflower, pumpkin and sesame seeds, nuts and berries. Linwoods will have access to both the large independent retail trade plus major key account retail groups such as, Dominicks, Jewel and Trader Joes.
KLT's route to market will allow Linwoods to access all states but will initially concentrate on the Mid West.

Bangor Sainsbury's Development Boosts Jobs
Development work will begin on a major superstore project in Bangor at the beginning of October, creating and securing dozens of construction jobs. The property expert who secured the deal to bring the Sainsbury's supermarket giant to Balloo Retail Park said that it will be a significant boost for the scheme and the local area.

Surprise fall in UK inflation rate
Slower growth in house prices and cheaper foreign holidays helped to reduce inflation by 0.2% to from 2.6% for October, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has announced today. The RPIX inflation rate - which excludes mortgage interest payments and is the government's target measure - was also down, falling to 2.7% in October from 2.
