'Wanted' Corrie Star Flies In For Holiday World
Fugitive soap character, Claire Peacock - who has just decamped to France while 'on the run' - is to re-emerge this weekend - in Belfast.
Actress Julia Haworth will attend the official opening ceremony at Holiday World Show at the King's Hall, Belfast at 1.00pm on Friday 21 January.
The petite actress (pictured) who ended her stint at Coronation Street with a giant 'fugitive' storyline will be looking for a bit of rest and relaxation in good company with around 30,000 visitors expected over the show weekend.
Show Organiser Edmund Hourican said: "Whatever the economic climate, people in Northern Ireland seem determined to enjoy their annual holiday and weekend breaks.
"Value for money will certainly be a factor when it comes to making holiday choices, but the public are increasingly aware of the wider benefits that come from shopping around … finding the perfect destination, having help with pulling together the various strands that make up the perfect holiday or securing added value in the form of upgrades, extra facilities or extended stays.
"At Holiday World they can talk through the widest possible variety of options with experts who can handle their inquiries on the spot and show organisers have come up with some great offers and deals for Holiday World 2011," he enthused.
Holiday World Belfast runs from 1.00 - 9.00pm on Friday 21 and from 11.00am to 5.30pm on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January.
