Belfast tech company gets share of multi-million pound deal
One of Europe’s leading customer relationship management (CRM) software players, Amacis is set to share in a deal worth £650 million.
The Belfast company, which has sales offices in London, Boston and Hong Kong, will get a share of the CRM deal after it was announced they will provide their Visibility product to Vertex, one of the UK’s leading outsourcing companies specialising in customer management.
The Visibility product is to be used to handle customer email communication for energy retailer TXU.
According to Amacis, their product Visibility allows “customer communications to be responded to consistently and in a timely fashion, and in doing transforms traditional call centres into the latest generation contact centres”.
In an interview with the Newsletter, Amacis said the deal would open “significant license revenues” in a bid to win further CRM business for the management of email and online webform submissions. (MB)
