Couple Freed After Missing Children Located
Four children who have been missing from their home in Ardee since Thursday have been found.
The children, ranging in age from one to 12, are safe and well while a 30-year-old man and a woman who were initially arrested have since been released without charge.
Police said on Monday that the people held in connection with the incident had been released unconditionally. It is understood the children were found by the PSNI in Newcastle, Co Down, at around 1pm on Sunday.
A major police operation was launched to find the children who were believed to have been in the company of 30-year-old man. Interpol as well as gardaí, the PSNI and police in Britain were involved in the search.
Chloe, Jessica, Jon and Megan were located safe and well in the seaside town on Sunday afternoon.
The four Eaton children, aged 12, ten, five and one, had disappeared from their Co Louth home with a man on Thursday, while their mother was in hospital.
"We would like to thank the public for their assistance with the appeal", a PSNI spokeswoman said.
"Police will continue to work with their colleagues in An Garda Siochana."

A man has had his car stolen at gunpoint as he was taking photographs in Co Antrim. A masked man approached the victim in a car park in Glenarm at around 10.35am on Sunday, 23 July. He demanded the man to hand over his car keys and made off in a red Ford Fiesta on New Road.

Family Threatened Out Of Their Home
A family has been ordered out of their home in Newry after a group of people gathered at their house. It is understood the incident occurred in the Pound Street area of the city on Thursday night when the mother was home with her four children. The PSNI said the mother, who is a young foreign national, was threatened during the incident.

A teenager has been arrested following a security alert at a west Belfast police station. The incident occurred at Woodbourne PSNI station on Tuesday. Army bomb disposal experts attended the scene after a suspicious object was discovered. It was later declared an "elaborate hoax" by the police.
