Sport Jobs Site Partners With US
A website for sports jobs in Northern Ireland has joined forces with a US company.
Sports Jobs Ireland.com (SJI) will partner with The Sports Resume of the USA.
SJI has over 300 members and offers sport job listings for both Republic and Northern Ireland. The Sports Resume of USA offers services that help prepare candidate cover letters and CVs for employment web databases.
Many of the job titles listed on SJI include: sport development officers, national governing body positions, elite fitness trainers, golf course managers and many intern/volunteer positions.
Job listings are provided to site members free of charge.
Established in March this year SJI also offers a unique insight to the people working behind the scenes of Irish sport.

Offshore Company Axes Jobs
Around 150 jobs in Aberdeen and Dundee have been axed after an offshore services company ceased trading. Oceanteam Power and Umbilical has been forced to close when the firm's holding company withdrew its financial support. Staff are based in Aberdeen, at workshops in Dundee and offshore.
