NI Engineering Firm In Administration
A major civil engineering firm has gone into administration but it is hoped that the company will survive.
According to a report by BBC, PT McWilliams, a civil engineering firm based in County Tyrone, are trying to reach an agreement with creditors.
This agreement would see the creditors accepting less than the full amount they are owed but it would allow the firm to keep trading will little disruption.
The administrators said they believe the firm is likely to be profitable in the future.
But it is due to a lack of working capital that the company cannot survive without the protection of an administration order.
PT McWilliams currently employs 160 people and was one of the companies awarded work on the new Enniskillen link road, in September.
Martin McWilliams, managing director of PT McWilliams, said "This has been a difficult time for the company, but we are heartened by the many expressions of support we have received in recent days.
"We wish to reassure our clients that they will see no disruption to their contracts."

PSNI Renew Appeal Over Fatal Crash In Co Down
Police have renewed their appeal for information following the death of a pedestrian in Co Down on Wednesday, 03 May. Keith McWilliams, aged 66, died in a collision which involved a lorry towing a trailer on the Rosstrevor Road in Warrenpoint. The PSNI are appealing to anyone whom was travelling in the area between 10.15am and 10.

McWilliams appointed chief of NI Human Rights Commission
Former Woman’s Coalition leader Monica McWilliams has been appointed as the new Chief Commissioner of the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission. Professor McWilliams, who succeeds Professor Brice Dickson, said she was delighted to be the new commissioner having “had a long-standing commitment to human rights in Northern Ireland”.

Belfast's InShops To Close
InShops in Belfast's city centre are set to close it has been revealed this afternoon. The 25 shops which employ around 60 people have until June 26 to evacuate the premises. According to the centre's manager the news was broke on Thursday last and came as a shock.
