Shop Robbed With Butcher Knife
An appeal has been launched by the PSNI after three men were reported to have robbed an Ormeau road shop with a butchers knife and lump hammer last week.
On Monday evening, detectives in Musgrave Street said they are appealing for information over the incident which tool place at a business premises in the Ormeau Road area, Belfast, on Friday 28 October.
A PSNI spokesman said that at approximately 8.50pm it was reported that three unknown males entered a shop, one was armed with a butcher style knife and another was armed with a lump hammer. The men made off with a quantity of cigarettes.
There are no reports of any injuries.
The first male is described as approximately 5'10" tall, wearing a royal blue hooded top with a white motif on the front, blue jeans and white trainers. The second male is described as wearing a grey hooded top with a white diamond motif and 'G' star on the front, dark blue tracksuit bottoms with two white stripes and white trainers and the third male is described as wearing a black hooded top, blue 'T' shirt underneath, white hat, dark tracksuit with blue stripes down the legs and white trainers.
Police said that anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to contact Detectives at Musgrave Street CID on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police in separate robbery appeals
Police in south Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a food store on the Ormeau Road on Tuesday. Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast
Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information after they received reports of a man in a red car acting suspiciously near two boys in their teens on Monday evening. The incident happened at around 4.45pm in the Pantridge Road area of Poleglass in west Belfast.
