Big W appoint senior management team

The new Big W store, which will officially open at Yorkgate Shopping Centre, Belfast in November, has announced its new senior management team.

The new store, which is expected create over 250 new jobs, has appointed Phil Ryan as General Manager with Louise Grant, Alastair Beggs, Stephen Rae and Mark Henderson all playing an important role the General Managers guidance.

This will be the 12th Big W store to open in the UK, with the others being located in England and Scotland. The new store will provide around 80,000 sq. feet of retail space and will sell over 57,000 product lines, with over £7million being invested into the new site.

Big W has promised to revolutionise the retail market by providing consistently low prices checked locally to ensure they are unbeatable, along with a unique shopping experience based on quality, variety and family entertainment. (MB)
