Belfast Company Targets £1m Export Sales
With support from Invest Northern Ireland, Belfast company Bohill Consulting is planning to increase its sales in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland to over £1 million over the next two years.
The company, which has offices strategically based in both Belfast and Dublin, provides specifically developed consultancy services to the telecoms market. It has identified an opportunity to grow the business by partnering with telecoms providers and is investing £484,000 in business development. Invest NI has offered £46,400 of support, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
As part of the investment Bohill Consulting will create six key consultancy positions and has aligned its business development strategy to grow sales in existing and new market segments.
James Burns, a co-Director of the company, says: "High consumer demand for smart phones, apps and rich media content is driving growth in the mobile telecoms market and has resulted in increased demand for our Enabler Services. These services allow our partners to realise their competitive advantage. We plan to exploit this opportunity by building a team of experienced specialist consultants and by targeting new customers in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland."
Bohill Consulting already counts some major telecoms companies among its clients, including Vodafone, eircom and Virgin Media.
Mark Bleakney, Manager of Invest NI's Southern Regional Office, says: "The new high calibre jobs being created by Bohill Consulting will significantly strengthen the company’s ability to deliver high-end consultancy projects. The company is projecting growth in turnover of over 300% over the next two years, an ambitious target and one that reflects the confidence that the Directors, James and Gabrielle, have in the future of the business. Our support will help them to achieve their aims."
