Camelot “determined” to track down NI winner
There is a winner of the National Lottery draw sitting unbeknownst in Northern Ireland who could be the lucky recipient of nearly £125,000.
The winner bought the winning ticket in February and has yet to come forward to claim the money.
Camelot Regional Centre Manager Eileen Smith is dispatching ‘Wanted’ posters around various National Lottery retailers in Northern Ireland over the forthcoming week.
She is urging National Lottery players to hunt for a valuable winning ticket that has remained unchanged. The lucky possessor of the rogue ticket is in line for a reward of £123,921 – should they turn it in by the 180-day deadline.
The winning five and bonus ticket was bought in Northern Ireland on the 7 February. The winning numbers are 2,5,33,37,40,45 and bonus 22. Players have until 11pm on 6 August 2001 to claim.
If the prize remains unclaimed after the 180-day deadline then the money and the interest it has accumulated will go to the Good Causes.
Camelot Regional Manager Eileen Smith said: “We’re determined to hunt down this mystery winner. The ‘Wanted’ posters will hopefully ensure we finally find them. Someone out there is sitting on a potential bounty of £123,921 – and I would urge all players to check any old tickets with great care.”
The total amount so far in unclaimed prizes which has gone to the Good Causes from the National Lottery and Big Draw is over £405.9 million. (AMcE)

Search Continues For NI Lottery Winner
