Bus Crashes In Centre Of Belfast
Emergency services have been called to an incident involving a bus in Belfast city centre.
The incident took place at around 14:15 GMT in Queen Street, which has been closed to traffic.There are reports that a number of people have been injured.
Derry Residents Return Home After Bomb Scare
Residents in Londonderry who had to leave their homes following reports of a loud explosion in the Waterside on Tuesday have been allowed to return. Homes were evacuated in the Spencer Road and Fountain Hill areas. Police have said the Spencer Road reopened at 13:00 GMT on Wednesday.They have also said that Fountain Hill and Moore Street has reopened. Police searches in the area over the coming days will focus on the car park at the Quarry Steps behind Spencer Road.
Police Launch Fresh Appeal In Murder Probe
Police investigating the murder of a businessman in Carrickfergus in 1996 have said they are following new lines of inquiry. Twenty- eight-year-old Chinese businessman Simon Tang was beaten and robbed as he left his takeaway restaurant. Detectives said that they are making progress but have appealed for more information from the community. It is understood that the attack was carried out by two youths who stole the night’s takings and Mr Tang’s watch. No one has ever been charged with the murder. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives on 028 90 700 727 or they can contact officers on a mobile number 07585 228283.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Two Arrested After 'Suspicious Activity'
Two men have been arrested by police following reports of suspicious activity in the North Circular Road area of Belfast. Police attended the scene and arrested two males on suspicion of burglary and possession of class A and B drugs. No further information is available.
