Talks Held As Ulster Bank Job Losses Feared
The Irish Bank Officials’ Association has confirmed that they will enter into talks with Ulster Bank amid fears of job losses.
The association has met with management of Ulster Bank in Belfast, as they fear that job losses may be announced.
Talking to BBC the bank said: "The bank does not comment on speculation. Announcements pertaining to jobs are made to staff directly."
Ulster Bank, the third-largest bank in Ireland, is owned by Royal Bank of Scotland.
The feared job losses come as RBS is expected to announce plans for a global restructuring tomorrow.

Bank Job Losses Overshadow 500 New Posts
There's both good and not-so-good news on employment today as a major jobs boost has been announced by global financial services company, Citigroup. However, between 220 and 230 jobs are to go at the Bank of Ireland's NI operation, a move that was revealed this morning around the same time as an announcement was being made on the new jobs.

New NI Bank Notes In Circulation
New bank notes have been released into circulation in Northern Ireland. The £10 and £20 notes are being issued from Danske Bank and will gradually replace the existing Northern Bank notes. The design of the notes remains the same, the only difference is the Danske Bank logo has replaced the Northern Bank logo.

Ulster Bank Jobs Cut
Hundreds of jobs are to go at Ulster Bank, as the group forsees up to 39 more branch closures by the end of 2014. Ulster Banks plans to "significantly" reduce its workforce, from around 5,800 full-time staff to between 4,000 and 4,500 by 2016. The news follows the 950 job losses announced in January 2012.

NI Building Jobs Hard Hit As Activity Stalls
The rate of business activity in NI is still stalled, but the speed of the fall has slowed. However, the building sector has again been hardest hit as shown by he release of October data from the Ulster Bank Northern Ireland PMI.
