Another Attempted Hijacking In Belfast
A man with a knife has attempted to hijack a van in North Belfast in the early hours of this morning.
The driver of the van was threatened as he made a delivery in the Ardoyne area of Belfast at around 05.30.
There have been 6 attempted hijackings in the greater Belfast area so far this year while there was a further 13 successful hijackings. Nine people have been arrested in connection with the incidents so far and four have been charged.

Possible 'Link' Between Three Attempted Hijackings In Belfast
Police are investigating a possible link between three attempted hijackings in Belfast. A woman was preparing to drive from York Parade onto York Road at around 8.30pm on Monday, when a man, wearing a scarf over his face, opened the driver's door. He attempted to pull her out of the vehicle, however she managed to drive off.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

Investigation Launched Over Attempted Hijackings And Robbery
Police have launched an investigation following two attempted hijackings and an attempted robbery in west Belfast. The incidents happened in the Falls Road and Donegall Road areas between 10pm and 11.40pm on Tuesday, 27 September.

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after two police officers were attacked with pipe bombs in north Belfast. The woman has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of explosives with intent to endanger life and preparation of terrorist acts.
