CCEA JOINS FORCES WITH LEADING ENGINEERING FIRM

THE Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) have employed the services of FG Wilson Engineering Ltd, one of Northern Ireland's leading companies, to produce an educational CD-ROM for Technology and Design teachers.

The CD-ROM will assist teachers to ensure that students achieve their full potential when following courses based on CCEA's new GCSE and Advanced Subsidiary qualifications in Technology and Design.

Raymond Moffatt of the North Eastern Education and Library Board, working for CCEA on developing the GCSE aspect of the CD-ROM, liased with FG Wilson who are providing support for the development and production of the product.

The Technology and Design Learning Support Materials are due for release towards the end of the autumn term and will be available from CCEA. (CD)
