HELM LANDS EUROPEAN COMMISSION CONTRACT

LEADING international consultancy house, HELM Corporation has secured a major contract to modernise financial management systems in the Republic of Georgia.

The project, which is regarded as a flagship programme for the European Commission, will establish a new financial systems framework in the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture.

It is hoped that if the HELM solution in the Ministry of Agriculture is considered appropriate it is anticipated that new systems will be introduced right across the Georgian Government.

HELM’s European Business Manager, Damian Duffy said: “We were delighted to be awarded the contract which shows that the European Commission recognises HELM’s international expertise in government financial systems.”

The team for the Georgian project comprises consultants from across Northern Ireland and Australia.

Ireland 'Under Pressure To Accept Bailout'

NI Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has announced Invest Northern Ireland's support for Norfolkline's new European Finance Service Centre.
