Alliance Selects Harbinson For North Down Council Seat

Alliance has selected Adam Harbinson for North Down Council to replace Alderman Tony Hill who passed away last month.

Mr Harbinson will now take up his seat in the Bangor West DEA of the North Down Council.

Mr Harbinson said: "I am proud to follow in the footsteps of such an outstanding and highly esteemed public servant as Alderman Tony Hill. My promise to the people of Bangor West in particular and in North Down in general is that I will build on the hard work and good reputation of Tony by engaging with as many constituents as I can, representing them with energy and commitment as I work with my Alliance colleagues and the other Councillors to build a cleaner, safer and more prosperous environment.

"I will work on North Down Council to ensure that rate payers get value for money and the services that the public deserve.

"Along with my Alliance colleagues across Northern Ireland, I hope to play my role in helping achieve a shared future by working for the whole community."
