Body Discovered In Donegal
Walkers in Ballyrattan, near Redcastle, have discovered a body in an advance stage of decomposition.
Two women out walking made the on the shores of Lough Foyle at about 4pm.
The area has been sealed off by gardai and forensic experts are currently examining the scene.
It is understood that the body was so badly decomposed they are not sure if it is that of a man or a woman. It may take several days, or weeks, before it can be identified.
The body has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital for a post-mortem. Gardaí and the PSNI are checking records for missing people on both sides of the Border.

Body Discovered On Banks Of River Foyle
A body has been discovered on the banks of the River Foyle. The unidentified body was found on Tuesday, 18 April, the PSNI have confirmed. A post mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death. No other details have been released.

Freezer victim identified
The body of a man who was found in a refrigeration unit in Galway has been identified. However, the name of the 51-year-old will not be publicly released until his family have been informed. A murder investigation was launched on Wednesday after the man’s body was discovered in a cold storage unit at a fishmonger’s shop at St John’s Avenue.

21-Year-Old Charged With The Murder Of His Mother
A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the murder of a 43-year-old woman in east Belfast on Friday, 13 September. The suspect has been named by the PSNI as Nathan Simpson, and he is charged with the murder of his mother, Rachel Simpson, at her home on the Castlereagh Road last Friday.

Female body washed ashore in County Donegal
A body has been found close to where a German tourist disappeared in County Donegal eight days ago. It is believed the female body is that of missing 22-year-old German backpacker Constanze Czerwinske. The body was washed ashore late this afternoon near Glen Head, beside Glencolmcille where the young woman was last seen.
