Man Arrested Over 1973 Sectarian Murder
A man has been arrested in England in connection with a sectarian murder in Belfast nearly 40 years ago.
The 62-year-old was detained in Blackpool on Tuesday by officers from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch, with the assistance of officers from Lancashire Police and the North West Counter Terrorism unit.
He was held following a review by the Historical Enquiries Team. He has been taken to Manchester for questioning.
28-year-old John Huddleston was shot at his home a number of times in Durham Street, west Belfast, on 24 March 1973.
His brother was also injured in the attack.

North Belfast Murder Victim Conor McKee Shot A Number Of Times
31-year-old north Belfast murder victim Conor McKee was shot a number of times, police have revealed. Mr McKee was found dead by his mother at his Glenpark Street home last Thursday night. Two men arrested over the murder have been released on bail.

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

Man Arrested Over 1993 UVF Murder
A 50-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the UVF murder of a man in east Belfast 20 years ago. The arrest follows the reopening of the investigation last week. PSNI officers were operating in parts of east Belfast, distributing leaflets and posters and asking for help from the local community.

Shots Fired At Police Car In West Belfast
Up to eight shots have been fired at a police car in west Belfast. The attack happened in the Rosnareen Avenue area at around 6.50pm on Thursday. Police are treating the incident as attempted murder. Several rounds hit the passenger side of the car however none of the two officers were injured.
