Man With Firearm Robs Premises In East Belfast
Police in east Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at commercial premises in the Upper Newtownards Road area on the afternoon of Monday 30 April.
At approximately 1.35pm, a man entered the premises armed with what was thought to be a firearm. He made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Sandown Road. No-one was injured in the robbery.
The man is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 5'9" in height, of slim build and had grey, shaved hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact CID in Musgrave Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police have released an image of a man following an attempted armed robbery at a commercial premises in north Belfast in 2014. The incident happened on the Cavehill Road on Tuesday 02 December at around 6pm. A man entered an off licence and struck a till with a hammer. He made off empty handed and no-one was injured in the incident.
