Head Staples Needed After Sunday Night Assault
Men were left needing staples to head wounds after an attack in west Belfast over the weekend.
A 35-year-old needed 15 staples and a 32-year-old needed seven after the assault, which happened on Finaghy Road North in the early hours of Sunday morning.
An 18-year-old sustained a cut to his arm in the same attack.
Police have detained a 25-year-old in relation to the incident and he is facing charges of
common assault, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Anyone who witnessed anything unusual in the area at about 2am on Sunday is asked to contact police on 0800 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
