Causeway Geotech Ltd To Invest In Export Marketing Campaign
A new company set up just six months ago in Ballymoney to specialise in geotechnical ground investigation is planning to take on seven new staff and invest in a comprehensive export marketing campaign.
Causeway Geotech Ltd was set up by Ciaran Doherty and John Campbell and offers geotechnical services to the construction industry focusing on high quality, personal, ground investigation solutions.
The company is being supported by Invest Northern Ireland, which has offered £49,000 through its Jobs Fund and £12,000 to support marketing activity.
The directors aim to grow sales to £1.6 million over the next two years, most of which will be in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
Gren Armstrong, Manager of Invest NI's North East Regional Office, said: "This highly specialist company has already secured business in Scotland and England and has identified further opportunities in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
"With our support it is implementing a strategy to target a range of potential customers including major construction companies, local and state government, consulting engineering firms and utility, specifically in the renewable energy market."
Causeway Geotech has also commenced work to develop and implement an integrated management system to meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001, which will be essential to helping it convert tender opportunities. Invest NI is helping it put in place an integrated management information system to support this.
