Jordanian Paralympians Will Return To NI To Face Court
Three members of Jordan's Paralympics team will definitely return to Northern Ireland to face court over sex offence charges, the country's authorities have said.
Power lifter Omar Sami Qaradhi (31), a wheelchair user, faces three charges of sexual assault, two against a child, and one of voyeurism after allegedly entering a women's changing room at the Antrim Forum Leisure Centre.
Team trainer Faisal Hammash (35) is accused of inciting two girls to engage in sexual activity.
Power lifter Motaz Al Junaidi (45), who is also a wheelchair user, is accused of sexual assault.
The men were sent back to Amman yesterday after the charges came to light, but authorities have insisted they will attend court in Northern Ireland on October 18.
Lisburn Pumps Company Exports To Poland
A Northern Irish company has secured its first export business in Poland after an Invest NI trade mission to the eastern European country.
Robert Craig and Sons, a specialist in industrial pumps, is now supplying its eco-friendly fuel polishing system to Loadbanks, an equipment business in Warsaw.
David Craig said Poland's strong engineering heritage would combine with a developing focus on environmental issues to secure their sales potential there.
He said: "What the system does is to eliminate the threat pollution of the environment caused by diesel fuel that has deteriorated through water penetration and may have to be dumped in a landfill site."
All-Ireland GAA To Be Shown On Belfast City Hall Screen
This Sunday's All-Ireland football semi-final between Cork and Donegal is to be shown on the big screen in the grounds of the City Hall.
Coverage begins at 1.30pm, with the match at 2pm, and admission to the City Hall grounds is free of charge, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Respective team jerseys and flags will be allowed, although flag poles will not. No alcohol will be allowed on site, and other standard Belfast City Council terms and conditions apply.

Man Charged With Supplying Cocaine
A man has appeared in court in Londonderry charged with supplying class A drugs. Twenty-five-year-old Sean Rodgers, from Glenowen Park, appeared at Derry City Magistrates court, accused of possessing cocaine with intent to supply. He also faces charges relating to the possession of cannabis and having £1,835, contrary to the Proceeds of Crime Act.

St Patrick's Day event has support of BCC says councillor
The Chairman of Belfast City Council’s Good Relations Steering Panel has challenged claims that the Council is not supporting St Patrick’s Day in Belfast. It follows a protest outside Belfast City Hall last week by the St Patrick's Carnival Committee who claim the Council isn't funding this year's event at the City Hall.
