Boosting Business Workshops Launched To Help NI Firms

Northern Ireland companies are being helped by Invest Northern Ireland to reduce costs by improving their supplier and customer relationships.

Invest NI is holding a series of Boosting Business workshops in September to help companies manage their supply chain effectively and improve their bottom line.

The workshops 'Managing Your Supplier' will be held in Coleraine, Newry, Cookstown, Derry and Belfast. These workshops are designed to help to equip companies with the skills and knowledge to make significant business improvements in handling the products and services they buy from other businesses.

Tracy Meharg, Invest NI's Executive Director, Business Solutions said: "The role of supply-chain management – the management of supplies, suppliers, inventory and distribution – is crucial to the financial health of a business. By understanding the process better and making changes to how to do better business in this area companies can improve performance, save costs and ultimately increase profits.

"At the Managing your Supplier events our expert team will show companies how a more structured approach to managing the supply chain can minimise waste, save on time, effort and cost."

The workshops will also give attendees information on how to access other Invest NI support programmes.
