70 New Jobs For Cookstown Firm
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster today announced that TES NI Ltd in Cookstown is creating 70 new jobs, with support from Invest Northern Ireland.
TES specialises in the design, build and installation of water and waste-water treatment facilities, electrical control panels and switchgear equipment.
Since it was established in 1999 it has grown steadily and has successfully exploited business opportunities across the UK, Ireland and, more recently, in mainland Europe and the Middle East. It currently employs 75.
Announcing the expansion during a visit to the company Arlene Foster said: "TES has grown from small beginnings in the water treatment sector to a position where it is now acting as the lead contractor on major projects. Its success has been driven by a focus on exports and on product diversification, which has resulted in a substantial increase in sales.
"Invest Northern Ireland has offered support through its Jobs Fund to enable the company to recruit additional staff quickly and take the first steps towards achieving the targets set out in its ambitious growth plan, which aims to more than double turnover over the next three years."
The new jobs will provide additional manufacturing and engineering support, and increase the technical capability of the company to drive its growth in export markets.
