First Minister Opens New Constituency Office
DUP First Minister Rt Hon Peter Robinson MLA has officially opened South Antrim MLA Pam Brown's new constituency office in Newtownabbey.
This is the DUP's 43rd office in Northern Ireland. Commenting at the launch Mr Robinson said: "A vital part of an elected representative's role is having a full-time professionally staffed office where the public can seek help and advice. With forty-three offices, we have a larger network of advice centres than any other political party in Northern Ireland.
"As an advocate for the public, an elected representative must be accessible. Our MEP, MPs and MLAs not only have full-time offices but every constituency also has various satellite surgeries. We will continue to expand this provision to ensure that we retain a first class constituency service."
