Ambulance damaged in brick attack
A brick has been thrown through a window of an ambulance in Dunmurry.
The incident happened at around 9.50pm on Wednesday.
While the driver escaped injury, police condemned the attack saying it had the potential for more serious consequences.
This is just the latest in a spate of attacks on ambulance crew in recent times. Last month ambulance crews were attacked two nights running during disturbances in north Belfast.

Man Dies Of Suspected Heart Attack At Walking Trail In Co Fermanagh
A man has died after he suffered a suspected heart attack at the Cuilcaigh Mountain trail boardwalk in Co Fermanagh. Emergency services were called to the scene on Tuesday, 13 February, following a report that a man was suffering from chest pains. The North West Mountain Rescue Team (NWMRT) were also alerted to the scene.

One Person Injured In Ballymena Crash
One person has been seriously injured in a road traffic crash in Ballymena. A passing ambulance crew discovered the collision at Lisnevanagh Road at around 1.30pm. The road is currently closed and diversions have been put in place.

Ambulance Crew Involved In M1 Crash
An ambulance crew has been involved in a crash in Belfast as they were attempting to resuscitate a young baby on the M1 motorway. The crew had been flagged down on Kennedy Way to help an infant who had stopped breathing, when a lorry collided with the ambulance at 11am today. The lorry was approaching the Broadway roundabout.

Ambulance crew hold protest following attack
Ambulance crews and other emergency services personnel have held an impromptu protest outside City Hall. The hour-long stoppage was held as a protest at the injury of two paramedics when they were attacked by gangs of youths in the Ligoniel area of north Belfast on Thursday evening.

Man Stabbed In Newry
A man, 27, has been stabbed in Newry, County Down. The attack happened in the Carnagh Park area in the early hours of Thursday morning. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service treated the man at the scene. He is currently in hospital and is believed to be in serious but stable condition.
