Road killer jailed for 12 years
A man convicted of causing the death of a west Belfast teenager has been jailed for 12 years.
The 20-year-old Belfast man, Henry Christopher Marley, was jailed for nine years for dangerous driving with three years to be served consecutively for theft.
He had originally denied being the driver who ran down and killed Debbie McComb on the Springfield Road in a stolen car last March. However, he was convicted of her death at a Crown Court in Dungannon last month.
Handing down the sentence at Belfast Crown Court today the judge described the incident as "the worst case of dangerous driving" he had encountered.
