Unite Compare Growth Bill To 'Dogs Breakfast'
The governments growth and infrastructure bill is a "dog's breakfast" which will not help the struggling economy at the slightest according to Unite, Britain's biggest union.
Some of the measures included are that in return for watering down rights, all employees will be offered tax free shares.
Lee McCluskey, Unite general secretary said: "This bill is yet another dog's breakfast from the Tories who don't have a real plan to get Britain's economy back on track. This country needs much more than tinkering at the edges and their barmy proposals."The plan to allow workers to sell their rights is plain stupid. It will actually create more red tape for employers rather than reduce it and will do nothing to boost the economy."Britain needs a substantial plan to boost the economy, but instead we get policy made on the hoof and madcap schemes which won't work."
Many Unite members are also getting prepared to join the TUC march on Saturday the 20th October.
