Paul Rankin café employs 30 at BIA

Belfast International Airport has unveiled its new Café Paul Rankin at the cost of £330,000.

The café, which has employed 30 new staff, is located in the main departures lounge and is part of the ongoing £3 million terminal development programme announced in July 2002.

Officially opening the new Café, Albert Harrison, Managing Director of Belfast International Airport, said: “This £330k investment has resulted in a top class facility at the airport and I am confident that the design of the Café Paul Rankin, combined with the excellent service standards provided by The Rankin Group, will make this extremely popular with the millions of passengers travelling through the airport each year.

"At Belfast International we constantly strive to provide our customers with the very highest standards of service. Café Paul Rankin is the latest venture to be unveiled at the airport in recent months, underlining TBI’s commitment to providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for all our passengers.”

Café Paul Rankin is part of the Rankin Group, which also owns Cayenne and Rain City.
