Men In Court Over Turkey Murders
A father and son are due in court later over the murder of two women from County Down in Turkey.
Recep Cetin, 22, and his father Eyup are accused of the murder of the two women and will appear today before a panel of judges in the city of Izmir.
Marion Graham and Cathy Dinsmore were murdered while in Turkey in August 2011.
Ms Graham was from Newry and Ms Dinsmore was from Warrenpoint. Both women were in their early fifties.
The two victims were on holiday in the Aegean Sea resort of Kusadasi. The case began after their bodies were found with multiple stab wounds in a wood near Izmir.
22-year-old Recep Cetin had was in a relationship with of Marion Graham's daughter, Shannon, at the time.
The trial has been taking place over a number of months, with four judges presiding over evidence in a series of court appearances.
It has been reported that the victims' families’ lawyer, Baris Kaska, said the hearing today may feature a testimony from a witness who was near the murder scene around the time of the killings.
It is understood the witness's identity will remain secret.
