Murdered Toddlers Mother Gives Evidence

The mother of murdered County Fermanagh toddler, Millie Martin, has given evidence in court.

Rachael Martin, 27, is on trial with her former partner Barry McCarney, 33, at Dungannon Crown Court.

Martin, who is denying the charges, is accused of wilfully neglecting and allowing the death old the 15-month-old from severe head injuries on 11th December 2009.

McCarney denies murder, sexual assault and assault on occasioning actual bodily harm, has refused to give evidence.

The trial is now in its seventh week.

SF President Gives Evidence At Trial
Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has given evidence in the trial of his brother Liam, who is accused of sexually abusing his daughter Aine. Liam is charged with ten counts of sexually abusing his daughter, however he denies all of the charges. The alleged incidents occurred over 30 years ago.

Room-Cleaner Gives Evidence At Mauritius Murder Trial
A room cleaner at the luxury hotel where a Tyrone newly-wed died has begun giving evidence at the murder trial of two of his former colleagues. Raj Theekow claims to have heard a female voice crying out from Room 1025 at Legends Hotel, where Michaela McAreavey was staying while on honeymoon in Mauritius.

Last McAreavey Witness Gives Evidence
The last of nearly 50 witnesses has given evidence to the Mauritius murder trial of a Northern Irish honeymooner. The final testimony ended the trial of two men accused of the murder of Michaela McAreavey, who was found strangled in her hotel room on the island in January 2011.
