Infant Killed In Road Crash

A 19-month-old boy has been killed in a two-car crash in County Fermanagh.

The accident happened on the Boa Island Road at about 15:50 on Monday.

A man and a woman also injured in the crash are thought to be in a serious condition in hospital.

A silver Renault Megane and a silver Peugeot 307 were involved in the collision.

It is thought the Boa Island Road will be closed for most of Tuesday morning.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.

Man Stabbed To Death

A 64-year-old man has been stabbed to death in an attack in Ballymena, County Antrim.

The attack happened early on Tuesday morning and involved a 59-year-old woman, who was taken to hospital suffering from stab wounds.

Her wounds are thought to be serious.

The incident happened at a house in the Carnvale area off the Carniny Road.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Man In Court Over Terrorism Offences

A 31-year-old man has appeared in court following the discovery of explosive devices at a flat in L’Derry.

Anthony Thomas Friel from Gartan Square in the Bogside was arrested last year when police uncovered pipe bombs, timer units and timer circuit boards at a flat in Maureen Avenue.

Detectives also discovered a rotary tool kit, drill bits, a heat gun, berets and gloves.

Mr Friel is charged with intent to endanger life and possessing articles for use in terrorism.

The offences are alleged to have been committed on May 21.

Police Investigate Ballymoney Shooting

A man has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Ballymoney, County Antrim.

The 31-year-old was shot in the leg. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The incident occurred in the Linenhall Street area at about 22:00 on Monday night.

A firearm was recovered from the area and taken away for forensic examination.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
