FG Wilson wins two top business awards
FG Wilson has won two top business awards at a recent ceremony in London, despite stiff European-wide competition.
The Larne-based company took the 'Excellence in Training Award' and the 'Employee of the Year Award' at the prestigious ‘European Hire Awards of Excellence 2003’.
Hosted by the ‘Hire Association Europe’, the awards pay tribute to the best rental companies and their associated products from throughout Europe.
FG Wilson Managing Director, Dr Mark Sweeney, said that the company won the awards through teamwork and dedication amongst employees.
He said: “We are delighted to receive these awards, the most prestigious of their kind in Europe. The Training Award is given to the company that can show it has a structured training programme in place to support its products. We won because of the work that our Product Training Team has put into supporting our rental gensets both internally and externally."
“The Employee of the Year award is given to an individual who has shown outstanding devotion to the hire industry and is a leader in their field. Paul Fish, FG Wilson Worldwide Rental Fleet Sales Manager won the award for the work he has put into making our rental product such a success through his face-to-face and personal approach to doing business.”
The awards consist of twelve categories that recognise the dynamism of individuals, high-performance companies and products from throughout the rental industry.
FG Wilson introduced generating sets specifically designed for the rental market to its product portfolio in 1997.
