Man's body found in west Belfast field

Police are appealing for information after a man's body was found in a field in west Belfast.

The man, who is described as being in his late 20s or early 30s, was unshaven with dark hair and was wearing dark jeans.

The body was found in Hawthorn Glen in the Hannahstown Road area on Tuesday night.

Police have appealed for anyone who might know the identity of the man to contact them.

Alan Drennan, 21, was found dead just 24 hours after arriving in Ibiza. Mr Drennan was detained by Spanish police when he arrived on the holiday island, and friends claim that he was attacked by the police.

Man Arrested After Man's Body Found In Co Antrim
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was discovered at a house in Co Antrim. Emergency services were alerted to the Broombeg View area in Ballycastle at around 8.30pm on Thursday. Police launched a murder investigation after the body of a 48-year-old man was found.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Identification Appeal For Body Found In Ardglass
A man whose body was found in the sea near Ardglass harbour on Saturday has not yet been identified. The PSNI in County Down said that the man is 30-40 years old, of medium build and 5ft 8in tall, with light facial stubble and a round face. His dark receding hair was combed back.
