Man In Court Over Stephen Davidson Murder
A 40-year-old man has appeared before a special sitting of Newtownards Magistrates’ Court over the killing of 31-year-old Stephen Davidson in Bangor.
The man was arrested last Monday 11 February. The sitting took place on Saturday 16 February.
The accused also faces charges in relation to drugs possession and a threat to commit arson on Saturday 9 February.
Police say Mr Davidson died as a result of a violent struggle. The 31-year-old was found dead at his house in Ballyholme Road on the evening of Sunday 10 February.
A 49-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman who were arrested by detectives investigating the murder have been released.
A 30-year-old woman was charged in connection with the killing on Thursday.
She faces charges of conspiring to pervert the course of justice and assisting offenders, as well as having a Class A drug with intent to supply.
The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Chief Inspector Richard Campbell, has appealed for anyone who knows of Stephen's whereabouts between 21.30 on 9 Feb in the Newtownards Road area of Bangor and shortly after 17:00 on 10 Feb when he was found in his home.
Police also appealed to any residents in the immediate area of Ballyholme Road if they noticed any unusual activity at the house or people coming and going.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A pensioner has been taken to hospital after being shot in the chest by a masked man in Ballycastle, County Antrim. The 74-year-old man was working in a shed at a property in the Islandboy Road area at about 20:45 on Thursday evening when the attacker approached and shot him.
