Church helpers robbed in east Belfast
Police in east Belfast have appealed for information after two church helpers were robbed at a bank on Sunday night.
The two men were lodging money into a bank on the Upper Newtownards Road in Dundonald at around 9pm when they where attacked by two masked men.
One of the helpers was hit on the head with a stick while the other suffered a head injury after falling over a wall.
The robbers escaped with a bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash and cheques.

Police Appeal Following Aggravated Burglary In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery in north Belfast. A group of masked men, believed to be armed with weapons, robbed a property in the York Crescent area at around 10.30pm on Sunday, 18 December. Extensive damage was caused, according to the PSNI. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Bank robbed in south Belfast
Police in south Belfast have appealed for information following a robbery at a bank in the early hours of yesterday morning. The incident happened at around 4am on Thursday morning, when thieves forced entry into the premises on the Upper Lisburn Road through a rear first floor window.

Police are appealing for information after a substantial sum of money was stolen from outside a bank in University Street, Belfast yesterday. The incident happened at around lunchtime when a man got out of a black Volvo car and approached another man who was about to make a lodgement at the bank.

New NI Bank Notes In Circulation
New bank notes have been released into circulation in Northern Ireland. The £10 and £20 notes are being issued from Danske Bank and will gradually replace the existing Northern Bank notes. The design of the notes remains the same, the only difference is the Danske Bank logo has replaced the Northern Bank logo.
