MLAs Hand Over Antarctica Regulation

The Northern Ireland Assembly has handed back its powers over Antarctica.

These were accidentally transferred to Stormont and the Scottish parliament during devolution.

The UK Foreign office has now regained the its powers to regulate expeditions and environmental matters of the Southern Ocean continent.

Health Minister Welcomes Successful Waiting List Initiative

NI 'Lethal' Drug Gangs
Northern Ireland's drug gangs possess "lethal capabilities" through the possession of firearms, ammunition and explosives, a PSNI detective has said. Detective Inspector Tom McClure is currently leading an investigation into the activities of a drugs gang in L'Derry.
