Tesco Withdraws Meat Loaf After Horsemeat Find
Tesco has withdrawn a frozen meat loaf from its line after it was found to contain horsemeat, made by County Down firm Eurostock Foods.
The Tesco Simply Roast Meatloaf tested positive for between 2% - 5% horsemeat.
A spokesperson from Eurostock Foods said: "We are shocked and disappointed by this result. The integrity of our supply chain is vital and we are working closely with our customers to try to establish the source of the contaminating material.
"Our investigations are on-going and we remain in constant dialogue with all relevant parties."
Tesco Group Technical Director, Tim J Smith, said: "Our investigation to thoroughly understand the source of the contamination has started and we will complete our investigation before deciding whether to continue using the supplier.
"As part of our new DNA testing programme we have now tested more than 500 products identified as being most at risk of containing horsemeat. This is the fourth Tesco-branded product to have tested positive.
"We are very sorry that we have had a further product which has failed to meet the high standards we and our customers expect."

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
