Tina Wardlow Murder - Man Arrested
A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a woman in Belfast over 20 years ago.
32-year-old Tina Wardlow was found strangled at Majestic Drive in south Belfast on 29 January 1993.
The man was arrested in County L'Derry this morning and was taken to Limavady police station for questioning.
Big Weekend Tickets Postponed
BBC Radio 1 has announced tickets to the Big Weekend in L'Derry will now be released on Wednesday.
Tickets had been due to be released on Tuesday morning, but 'technical issues' are being blamed for the delay.
The tickets will now be available from 09:00 on Wednesday 17 April.
Olly Murs and Two Door Cinema Club are among the artists already confirmed.
Women Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
Two women have been convicted at Newry Magistrates' Court for claiming benefits they were not entitled to.
28-year-old Kellie Clements of Lurganconary Road, Kilkeel claimed Income Support, Carers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £2,349 while failing to declare employment. She was fined £240 and ordered to pay court costs of £42.
40-year-old Amanda Valentine of De Courcey Way, Dundrum claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £14,969 while failing to declare capital. She was fined £240 and ordered to pay court costs of £37.
Man Fined Over Fisheries Offences
A County Down man has been fined £450 after being convicted of fisheries offences at Newry Magistrates' Court.
Robert Dornan of Shore Road, Annalong, was convicted of fishing by unlicensed and unfair means, use of a fixed engine within one mile of the defined river mouth and use of monofilament net.
He was fined £150 for each charge, plus costs of £250, court costs of £20 and an offender levy of £15.

Street Drinkers Pay The Cost
Five people have been fined at Belfast Magistrates Court for drinking alcohol in public. Tyrone McCann, from Richmond Avenue in Newtownabbey, was fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £66 after he was detected drinking alcohol at Suffolk Road in west Belfast on January 16.

Benefit Frauds Face Court Sanctions
Fraudsters are being made to pay the price for claiming a variety of benefits they were not entitled to. A total of 14 people were convicted at Belfast Magistrates' court yesterday with Joanne McBride (35) of Portallo Street, Belfast claiming Income Support totalling £4,451 while failing to declare she was working.

A dozen people have been caught fiddling the benefits' system in Northern Ireland. All have been identified on the Department of Social Development's (DSD) own website - a new development - and have had their details circulated to the local media in each of the areas concerned.
