Two men die in separate road accidents

Two people have died on Northern Ireland's roads in the past two days.

A man has died after being hit by a car in Co Down early this morning.

The 33-year-old pedestrian, who has not yet been named, was struck by the vehicle on the Downpatrick Road in Ardglass at around 3am on Friday.

A motorcyclist has been killed in a road accident in Larne, Co Antrim.

The man, named locally as Jason Green, 30, from Craiganee Road, was killed at around 9.30 yesterday morning on the same road. No other vehicle is believed to have been involved.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on either incident to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
