DM Innovations Makes Connections In GB And The Middle East
A Belfast based innovation company, DM Innovations, is making valuable connections in Great Britain and the Middle East following technical assistance from Invest Northern Ireland.
The company has received advice from Invest NI’s technology experts to help develop a number of its ideas into commercial products. This advice has paid dividends as DM Innovations recently secured valuable orders to supply its coiled lanyard product to customers in UAE and Scotland.
The product was originally designed to prevent weapon loss and is now used for a variety of purposes by Police, Military, Prison Services and Special Forces around the world.
Commenting on his experiences, Darren Fenton, Partner at DM Innovations, said: "The support from Invest NI helped us to evaluate the effectiveness of potential new products and look at the cost of manufacturing them. Our business is continuously looking at ways to make life easier and we are focused on building a strong portfolio of exportable products over the coming months."
DM Innovation has also used Invest NI Innovation Vouchers to work with South Eastern Regional College and University of Ulster to develop and test product prototypes.
